TREVI FOUNTAIN:
Built by Nicola Salvi in the first half of the 18th century and immortalized in Fellini’s Dolce Vita with the famous bath scene of the Swedish actress Anita Ekberg, is one of the most visited places in the world. The chance of throwing a penny (strictly with your back towards the fountain) is not to miss for those who wish to return to Rome. It can be reached from the Hotel by Metro in about 20 minutes.

VATICAN:
The official residence of the Pope, the smallest state in the world with a population of only 800, is a favourite destination for millions of tourists every year who want to visit the majestic St. Peter’s Basilica and its museums. Reachable from the JMaluni City Hotel by Metro in about 25 minutes.

VILLA BORGHESE:
Rome’s park par excellence. Owned by the Borghese family, it was purchased by the Municipality of Rome in 1903 and opened to the public; a walk through its gardens is a must. Reachable by subway in about 25 minutes.

IMPERIAL FORUMS:
Located in the immediate vicinity of the Colosseum, they are known as “Ancient Rome”. The archaeological area is made up of 5 squares (fora) where the public life of the city was concentrated and it was possible to attend minor shows including theatrical works and Gladiator challenges. Their construction was started by Julius Caesar and finished by Augustus. During a stay in Rome they are an unmissable destination for a walk through the streets and squares of 2000 years ago. Reachable by subway in 20 minutes (Metro Colosseum).

PANTHEON:
Considered by many to be one of the oldest churches in the world, in reality it has only been considered as such for 1400 years…, since its construction which presumably took place around 27 BC. the Pantheon was a temple dedicated to the ancient Roman deities. It is one of the most visited buildings in the world thanks to its charm which has remained unchanged for more than 2000 years. Reachable from JMCH via metro in about 25 minutes.
